D/MxT reimagines first contact through the eyes of alien lifeforms who discover evidence of our existence. Anchored in the narrative symbolism of the 1977 Voyager Space Probe, the project unfolds through portraits and imagined landscapes of an extraterrestrial world—where beings like us encounter the Golden Record, humanity’s ‘Message in a Bottle.’

Through this speculative lens, D/MxT asks whether our cosmic solitude is a matter of chance—or choice. What might alien intelligence make of the Voyager’s curated fragments of life on Earth, and what, if anything, would they understand about us?
